FUTURE
EVENTS
The Branch Committee continue to organise events that will be of professional interest to its members and the current plans are shown below. As ever, we are dependent on the availability of speakers, venues etc. and we apologise in advance for any late changes that may have to be made. As details become available they will be published on this site, in the Newsletter or by direct emailing through Committee contacts.
Keep a regular eye on this page for information which will be updated as information is received
We cannot always "second guess" what our members may be seeking or if our proposals are necessarily correct. IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON A TOPIC THAT CAN FORM AN AFTERNOON EVENT PLEASE LET THE BRANCH SECRETARY KNOW AND IT WILL BE PROGRESSED.
Plans for 2012
We have other events in the pipeline for early 2012, including the major Flood Alleviation Scheme currently taking place in Woking, Surrey; a proposed visit to a well known truck and emergency service vehicle manufacturer in Guildford and a full-day Passive Safety Workshop. Details of these events will be publicised as more information becomes available.
As always, members are very welcome to these events and, in most cases, non-member guests can also attend. Normally free of charge with light refreshments and all qualify for Continued Professional Development (CPD) certification. Support your Institute and Branch Committee by attending these events which are designed to improve your overall knowledge of the highways industry, regardless of your current professional role.
